IHM&W is a not-for-profit trade association serving member companies conducting intrastate and local moving in the State of Indiana.

We are the voice of the moving industry in Indiana state government; provide information and support to our members; and, encourage our members to demonstrate integrity, fairness, competence and social responsibility in their daily business transactions and community relations.

Our blank tariff template has published governing rules and regulations consistent with state requirements for moving in Indiana. Members can use this tariff template to add their rates and file their own tariff with the Indiana State Department of Revenue, Motor Carrier Division. Any moving company doing intrastate or local moves within the State of Indiana may participate in our association with an annual membership fee of $300.00.

We also provide assistance to the moving public in the State of Indiana who may have problems or issues with their moving company. We strongly support superior customer service to our customers and strive to uphold the highest level of service and ethics.
